The Beginning
A workshop, finally under its own name.
MORAES was founded in October 2025 with a single, specific idea: to remove the layers between a leather workshop and the people who use its goods.
For more than fifteen years, a small workshop in Colombia has been producing leather at the highest level of craftsmanship — but always as a supplier, never under its own name. The goods passed through one buyer, then another, before reaching golf clubs, brands, and hospitality groups across the United States. The work was excellent. The recognition went elsewhere.
We started MORAES to change that path. Same hands. Same hides. Same care — sold directly. Without the markup, without the distance, without the middlemen.
The Craft
Slow on purpose.
Every piece is cut by hand or with steel die — depending on what serves the leather best. Assembled by hand. Edge-painted by hand. Hardware set by hand or press. Inspected by hand before it leaves the bench.
Stitched with industrial machines built for leather — the standard used by the workshops behind the world's most respected brands.
Vaqueta leather, traceable hides, finishes that age with use. The work is slow because it has to be.
